A New Year

I was going to do a fantastic Christmas post but my memory card is lost and presumed stolen. Along with $1700 worth of my friend's camera equipment. So there ya go.
Today is the last day of 2013. That went by pretty quick.
Highlights include:

Turned 21
Weddings!
Disney Adventure
Toured Valve Headquarters
Bought some art at Comic-con
Got a new kitten (will post pictures when I get a new memory card)
Got a new job and met some cool people

I'm looking forward to 2014. Lots of plans.
Here are some photos from my Thanksgiving trip to Utah.

Maybe One Day...

Seriously, if anyone has a solution to blogger uploading crappy quality, let me know.

I think maybe I'd like to live here one day.

Even if we did get locked in a stairwell of the Columbia Tower and had to climb 30 or so flights of stairs before we were let back in.

16 Days...

16 days until these people get married!
Pretty exciting. Here are some photos from the bridal shower back in November.

*For some reason blogger hates me and uploads this photo with terrible quality. Sorry.

16 Days.

Disney Adventure

Back in November, a friend and I had the best idea ever. She had been working at Walt Disney World for the past couple of months and we hadn't seen each other in 5 or so years. So we planned a trip.
She came to visit me for a day and a half, then we went to California and hit up the Disney parks there for a day and a half. Then we flew to Florida and spent 4 days park-hopping and seeing the sights. It pays to have Disney cast member friends with guest passes to all parks.

EPCOT

Magic Kingdom

Animal Kingdom

Downtown Disney

We also went to Hollywood Studios but only spent an hour there and the only shareable photo is the one of Sorcerer Mickey's hat at the top of the post. So here are photos of Downtown Disney instead.

Homemade Curly Fries

For my birthday, I got a wonderful Apple Slinky Maker. I first encountered this innovating contraption in fifth grade when I went to my friend's house and she showed me its magical ways. It blew my mind. It is by far, the best way to eat an apple.

I noticed the box it came in said it works for potatoes as well. So we put that to the test and voilĂ ! Curly fries.

Add some extra virgin olive oil, and garlic pepper, bake until golden brown.

We're pretty cool. Luckily I have roommates that were willing to do it all, I just provided the magical machine and took photos.

When you have a Monday off...

So I'm back at school. It's cold. Really cold. But luckily I have some pretty cool roommates and we have fun times inside. Sometimes we venture out to get pizza and ice-cream (yes I know, but ice-cream is good year-round).
Picked up some original Krispy Kreme too

Chocolate/marshmallow ice-cream

We then proceeded to build a fort where we could comfortably eat.

And no party would be complete without Jones soda.
